Ship your Honda PCX anywhere in the 48 contiguous states with Nationwide!

Welcome to your new Honda PCX–the ultimate scooter for the early 21st century! Honda calls the PCX a “global model scooter,” which means that it’s currently available in more or less the same spec all around the world. And yes, it’s available in America!

You are thus in good company with your purchase, and we hope that the above videos help you enjoy your new bike to the fullest.

The first is a short but sweet intro. The second is a little more on the amateur side, but you get to meet Roscoe, the schnauzer. Enjoy!

Here is the press release about the original launch of the PCX in Thailand. Some of this amazing scooter’s features are:

The PCX is equipped with a newly developed low-friction, water-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder 125 cc engine, achieving excellent fuel economy of approximately 50km/liter (ECE 40 MODE). The “idling stop system,” which automatically stops the engine when the motorcycle comes to a temporary stop, was adopted to improve fuel economy (except for the U.S. model.) In addition, PCX conforms with Thailand’s Emission Standards at level 6 as well as the current exhaust emission standards in Japan, Europe and the U.S. with Honda’s electronic fuel injection system (PGM-FI*1) and a catalyst device (catalyzer) installed in the muffler.

OK, no idle stop here in the States. But you get the rest!

Soon the time will come when you will want to ship your PCX to a distant city. You’ll want the best motorcycle transport service in the businessand that’s what we’ve got!

Ship your Scion iQ EV across America with Nationwide!

Here are our posts in this series thus far, which is about electric cars:

Imagine yourself on a beach in Tahiti with a cool tropical drink in your hand. You are completely free of stress. You and I are discussing electric cars in a state of perfect relaxation. Eventually the topic turns to the revolutionary Scion iQ EV (known elsewhere in the world as the Toyota iQ EV).

You grab your iPad and see what Wikipedia has to say on the matter:

A prototype of the iQ EV (Scion iQ EV in the US) was exhibited at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The Scion iQ EV is the successor to the FT-EV II as an electric vehicle based on the Toyota iQ chassis.

The US launch of the Scion iQ EV has been announced for 2012, and according to Toyota, for the initial roll-out the iQ EV will not be available to individual consumers, instead the carmaker decided to focus on fleet customers and car sharing programs. The electric minicar has an estimated range of 50 miles (80 km).

You then watch the above embedded video in a state of perfect peace and contentment to learn more about this amazing vehicle.

At this point you realize that, back in the States, you have an iQ EV in your garage that you need to ship to a distant city, despite the fact that it is not available in the US yet at all. Where did I purchase it? you wonder. But now is not the time to ponder such matters as you chug down another Mai Tai. Nor is it an appropriate moment to get stressed about how to ship the car. This is Tahiti!

You place a single call to Nationwide, which then pampers your vehicle with its enclosed shipping service. Your rare EV feels like it’s relaxing on a beach in Tahiti!

And all is well.
